The past week has been a mixture of ups and downs but I'm determine to make each moment count! Enough of regretting the things I didn't do or wishing to do things differently. The things that happens in our lives are meant to happen for many reasons. To teach us a lesson, to bring us back down to reality, to make us a better person, to make us appreciate all that we have and often take for granted. That's what's been happening in our house this past week. I think all of us, in one way or the other, have learned something and started being more appreciative for the things that we have.
The husband ended up with truck trouble that left him with a few days off from work. We took advantage of that and took our oldest to Dorney Park (twice this week), an amusement park in our town, and The Da Vinci Center, a science center for kids with awesome things even adults enjoy. Earlier in the year they had Human Bodies Reveal which was pretty cool! Real human bodies exposing every single organ, muscle, bone, you name it! One of my favorite was the blood vessels going to every inch of the body. Sadly they didn't allow cameras in there. Over the summer they have Grossology, the impolite science of the human body. This one is pretty cool as well. It talks about bacteria that cause different smells, how the digestive system works, why boogers are the way they are, why farts vibrate on their way out lol. It's something alright. I enjoyed it probably a tad bit more then the kids ;)
As if that isn't enough I decided to back off from the social media world. To find myself and my purpose in life, be a better mother, wife, daughter, friend. No Facebook, no Instagram. What will I do with myself?! I know, I'm going to make each second count with those I love. I went back and forth debating whether to keep away from blogging as well. At least for the time being but somehow here I am still. It may be for a few more weeks or months. But until I make a final decision I will keep documenting my life my favorite way :)
What have you learned lately? Any life events that made you realize something important?
